Made with Recycled Materials

Our Earth-Friendly, Kraft, and Hemp labels are made with different degrees of recycled materials.

Earth-friendly labels: Matte white Earth-Friendly paper labels are made from 100 % post-consumer waste. 

Kraft labels: Textured, brown Kraft labels are made from 100% post-consumer waste.

Hemp labels: Natural looking Hemp labels are made of 25% hemp fiber and 75% post-consumer waste.

Earth-Friendly Label Paper Sourced Responsibly

Our Earth-Friendly labels contain FSC-Certified paper, which means that the components have been sourced responsibly, whether through responsibly managed forests, recycled materials, or a mixture of those two. (FSC-C007276).

Recyclable Labels and Packaging

Avery Earth-Friendly, Kraft, and Hemp labels and packaging are recyclable as part of paper waste. Please Note: Avery label backing sheets are NOT recyclable.

LED and Vegetable Based Inks

Labels are printed using LED-based ink. This type of ink eliminates harmful VOCs and hazardous air pollutants. Packaging is printed using vegetable-based ink derived from renewable materials.

Processed Chlorine Free

Earth-Friendly Label paper and packaging are Processed Chlorine Free, which substantially reduces harmful substances associated with the manufacturing process.
